Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Must be able to satisfy applicable Maryland childcare background screening and clearance requirements. Must be willing to complete required childcare training and certifications if not already completed.

Previous experience caring for infants, toddlers, preschoolers or young children is strongly preferred. Professional daycare, preschool, nanny, family childcare, early childhood or similar experience is especially valuable. CPR/First Aid and Maryland childcare credentials or training are a plus.

Candidates who do not yet hold every childcare certification are still encouraged to apply if they have strong childcare experience, reliability and a genuine interest in the position. Coco's may help the right candidate understand the training and qualification process.

This is a full-time, in-person position at our home-based program in Silver Spring, Maryland, on a Monday-Friday schedule. Exact hours will be discussed with qualified applicants based on the daycare's operating needs.

$18-$23 per hour. Compensation is based on childcare experience, qualifications, training, and the level of responsibility the candidate is prepared to take on.
